Cancelling a sale

The offer includes a 14-day cooling-off period. If a purchaser wishes to cancel their Refund Cover, you can send a POST with just the purchase_reference in the body to the cancel endpoint.

The purchase will be cancelled and 200 OK response will be returned if:

  • the purchase_reference is found,
  • the state is sold:true, and
  • it is less than 14 days since the sale was reported to us.

If the transaction is more than 14 days old, an error will be returned.
